There is not a set number of sessions as everyone is individual in what they need. We do appreciate that funding is limited and you can discuss this with your therapist.

Please give at least 48hrs cancelation notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 48hrs notice will be charged for. Only extreme cases are exempt from this policy, like the client had unexpectedly needed to be hospitalised. (Please note that Animal & Nature assisted Learning has a different policy, which can be viewed upon request).

Simply being around our friendly animal family and soaking in the calming environment, held within the rolling hills is healing in itself. Then add the response of the animals as they connect with you, pick up on your emotional energy and react in incredible ways . We recommend that the best way to start to get an understanding is to book in and experience an initial Taster Session .

For those on a low income, there may be options to apply for funding or looking at a reduced rate to enable you or your child to attend. 

Although officially you only need to give 48hrs notice to finish your sessions at The Haven, we request that wherever possible we have at least 2 weeks + notice in order to wrap up the sessions and plan a good ending. (Again the animal & nature assisted learning has a different policy).

After an initial 1 hr Taster Session, if you decide to continue then sessions would be on a weekly basis on a set day and time. Some staff work term-time only.

Postcode is PO18 9JP, however this will take you to Pitland’s Farm. We are about ¼ mile south of Pitland’s Farm, on the left coming from Walderton Direction and about ¼ mile on the right after the farm coming down from the Up Marden direction. Look out for the double metal gate entrance and road cones. In the summer months there is a bell tent visible from the entrance.
If you get lost or are running late, please message the therapist/teacher directly and they will help to guide you in.
