Vicky Vawer

I started helping Becky in 2020 after having a family meant I left my career as a Mental Health Nurse. Initially just for two hours a week, my hours increased as The Haven got busier. Before nursing, I worked mainly with carriage horses but also have had jobs in an animal sanctuary, as a groom and as a riding instructor.

The Haven is a very special place, the therapists make such a difference during their sessions and it is great to be a small part of helping people live their lives.
